Alternatively titled 'Ashura' for the UK release, we've covered this here in the form of the trailer, and Todd has seen it (have you seen the price of this one in Japan?!). Takita is the man behind 'When the Last Sword is Drawn' which proved to be pretty popular with recent converts to asian cinema. This is a pretty sharpish release for a new Japanese film to hit DVD in the UK, let alone anywhere else - would have expected to hear about an R1 Disc before this. Anyway, for those interested : this seems to be the first cheap version, issued by new label Yume Pictures.
