On Saturday Twitch reported that Sylvester Stallone was taking over final cut of Walter Hill directed action flick Bullet To The Head, following the film's removal from its planned April release date. Today Warner Brothers issued a denial of that report via IGN:
Nice to see Hill quoted directly in there, though this does not mesh at all with what we were told from within the production. Is this spin? I sincerely hope not, I'd greatly prefer for our initial report to be wrong and see Hill's vision displayed on the big screen fully intact.Contrary to recent inaccurate and unfounded reports that Sylvester Stallone had taken over the editing of BULLET TO THE HEAD, director Walter Hill continues his editing of the movie. Walter Hill said today, 'I'm currently finishing up and locking reels on the movie -- as to the content and style of the film, Sly and I are in perfect sync. I'm delighted with the way the film is turning out and hopefully so will the audience.'
Hill recently wrapped production on the action thriller starring Sylvester Stallone, which will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.
