He fights crime but can he get through a door? That is the dilemma facing Peter Parker in a new clip released from Marc Webb's upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man. This latest snippet from the film strikes me as a bit of an odd choice to release as a promo featuring, as it does, no action at all beyond a conversation between Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker and the doorman at Gwen Stacey's building. The intention, clearly, is to give fans a chance to see how Garfield is going to play the Parker role away from the action but ... well ... I'm sure they could have shown him doing that in a scene that was a bit more interesting. Check it below.

I believe this is from the prequel, The Pedestrian Spider-Man
Oh my god, I loved this scene... except for the part where he gets stuck standing around talking to the doorman.
You guys are so lame!! Tobey Maguire is so GAY!!!! OMG! Andrew Garfield is gonna be so much better!! He's already massively hotter so... Anyway, I'm totally psyched for this movie!! You people don't know what the hell you're talking about. The previous trilogy was boring and lame. Sure it had Bruce Campbell but if you wanna watch a movie with Bruce Campbell why not watch something where he's the main character?
