We may have to wait a bit to watch Sylvester Stallone and Jason Momoa duke it out in the Walter Hill directed Bullet To The Head. In a move being pitched as simply moving away from a crowded weekend, Warner Brothers have removed the film from its planned release date of April 13th.
Should Stallone fans be worried by this? Well, I think probably yes. The other two big films slated for the same day are The Three Stooges - which is not a threat to anyone - and Cabin In The Woods, which will have some overlap in terms of audience but will likely skew a good bit younger than Bullet. There's really no reason why all three films can't co-exist on the same week.
More significant causes for worry, however, are the fact that WB has not set a new release date at all - which you would expect if it's a film they have faith in - and how late in the game they've done it. The release dates for Stooges and Cabin have been known for ages, if this was about screen space they'd have known it long ago. It's far more likely that a little more than two months before the release the film is now fully complete and while prepping marketing materials someone has decided they don't like what they're marketing. That is speculation, however, and time will tell.
