In October last year, Twitch reported that anime director Kenji Kamiyama, the genius behind two of the best anime series ever - GHOST IN THE SHELL: STAND ALONE COMPLEX and EDEN OF THE EAST, was working on a big screen version of Shotara Ishinomori's classic sci-fi manga 009 Re:Cyborg.
Synopsis (from Twitch's earlier report): The story follows a group of nine cyborgs, each of them created by a shadowy organization for use as weapons against humanity. The group turns on their creators to protect the population instead, using the powers given them to fight their creators.
The film is due for release later this year, and the new teaser can be seen below. It is not quite as long as the video posted previously, but it is the first official theatrical teaser and well worth checking out.
