I wish we had an article category for 'AWESOME' because this so deserves it. And I am sure at some point today Todd will put on his Executive Producer hat and explain what the 'Redemption' part is...

Probably just because marketing departments seem to have a hardon for the words: Reckoning, Redemption, Revelations, Revengeance (Not a word, but see the new Metal Gear Game), and Reloaded for the 16-28 male demographic.

It's about setting up the titles for the trilogy, actually. The Indonesian sequel will be going into pre-production in the fall and there's just no obvious link between the actual titles when you translate them. The Raid isn't even a particularly accurate translation of the Indonesian title, which - according to Google translate - is actually DEATH INVASION. Which is pretty fucking awesome.

No, the original Indonesian title for The Raid is "Serbuan Maut".

Attack translated to Indonesian as "Serangan", not "Serbuan". Invasion is more suitable for "Serbuan".

While "Maut" eventhough it is used more as adjective in this case, but it's actually a noun. So Death is correct in this one, while Deadly is literally translated to Indonesian as "Mematikan", both are adverbs.

I'm not against setting up a trilogy, but shouldn't you wait for the other installments? STAR WARS wasn't released as EPISODE FOUR or even A NEW HOPE, that only started after the next film arrived.

And REDEMPTION doesn't sound like a beginning to be honest, more like a part 4 or 5. Shouldn't you first establish a recognizable brand before making people wonder if they have seen part 1 or not?

It's rolling out in stages, with 50 markets - I believe - currently scheduled. Beyond that will depend on performance.

The exact word that Tama (Ray Sahetapy) said in the trailer is "dan jangan lupa...bersenang-senang" which literally translated to English as "and don't forget...have fun".

This off course depends on the situations. If you want to say "and please...enjoy yourself" to someone who is going to have a nice meal then you can say "dan silakan... selamat menikmati" as what Michael Lee suggested above. But in the situation where Tama said that to his army through PA then it more fits to use "dan jangan lupa...bersenang-senang"
