I suppose that as far as reunions on film go if you can get ANY of the five remaining together for a project that it would be considered a massive success in organizational skill. Rarely does it seem that you can get ALL five of them together at once. But Terry Jones is trying very hard to do so. And I will take However-many-Pythons-I-can-get-at-one-time over No-Pythons-at-all, thank you very much.

Terry Jones is set to get back into the directors chair and will also reunite with a former Python film producer Mike Medavoy [Life of Brian]. This Spring they will begin production of the sci if comedy Absolutely Everything. In the film a group of CGI aliens, so far voiced by Terry Gilliam, John Cleese and Michael Palin, bestow a human with the power to do 'Absolutely Everything' just to watch him muck it up, which he does. No word yet if Eric Idle will lend his voice but I am sure if Jones promises that he will have all of Idle's guitars restrung, and he can write and perform the them tune, then he will come on board.

"Terry and Gavin have crafted a classic farce -- something I feel I know a little about after all the 'Pink Panther' pictures we did with Blake Edwards at United Artists," Medavoy said. "In fact, the movie even has a pompous Frenchman reminiscent of Inspector Clouseau -- but there the similarity ends. Like all projects originated by any of the Monty Python guys, 'Absolutely Everything' delightfully defies a logline.

According to the report over at Variety Robin Williams will lend his voice to a dog and they have asked him to play the role of the pompous Frenchman as well.
