UK based director Jim Hosking rose to international attention thanks to his Sundance selected 2010 short film Renegades - a bizarre, peculiar, absurd and uncomfortably hilarious piece of work. A prolific commercial director Hosking has been uploading his favorite bits of commercial work on to his Vimeo page over the past few months
and it is immediately clear that those same adjectives apply to his
paid work every bit as much as to his more personal efforts. Is it
possible to be a commercial auteur? If so, then Hosking is one. And so
we declare this week to be Jim Hosking Week on Twitch, with a selection of his commercial and short film output presented every day.
