Destruction On A Massive Scale In Turkish Period War Epic FETIH 1453

Fetih1453.jpg
Director Faruk Aksoy is bringing history to the big screen on a massive scale with the upcoming Fetih 1453.

Simultaneously enormously bloody and incredibly handsome with what appears to be a literal cast of thousands, Aksoy's picture captures the Fall Of Constantinople - the 1453 war in which the Ottoman Empire took over the city of Constantinople.

Production values here are simply fantastic. The first trailer is a short one but with a February theatrical release approaching quickly, expect more soon.

The shot of the guy getting hit in the face with the mace makes me shudder every time. There are face bits flying off there ...

It is not Battle of Varna, Varna was at 1444 and Mehmet II wasnt at charge Murad II was. This is Fall of Constantinopole, 1453. Diffirent wars of diffirent leaders and diffirent countries.
