Remember the name of France's Dominique Rocher because my hunch is you'll be hearing a lot more of him in the future.
A highly in demand commercial and music video director Rocher is increasingly pushing into the world of short films to scratch that narrative itch and it is increasingly clear that he brings a unique character driven approach to genre based material. He was part of last year's short film anthology Survivors' Chronicle and is currently part of an Audi-backed short film program which has resulted in a fifteen minute effort titled La Vitesse Du Passe.
The teaser starts off played like a straight up relationship drama but it quickly becomes clear that there's something more going on and things build to an impressive technical flourish. Check it out below.
