Full marks to the reinvigorated Hammer Films and their upcoming The Woman In Black. It appears they've got something special on their hands here and all involved from the producers right down to the local distributors - that would be CBS Films in North America - are doing one hell of a job in leveraging the name value of their star Daniel Radcliffe while also proving to the audience at large that Radcliffe aint Harry Potter any more.
Based on the classic ghost story, THE WOMAN IN BLACK tells the tale of Arthur Kipps (Daniel Radcliffe), a lawyer who is forced to leave his young son and travel to a remote village to attend to the affairs of the recently deceased owner of Eel Marsh House.
A new, minute long teaser for the film has just been released and it is, again, a very strong piece of work. Take a look below.Working alone in the old mansion, Kipps begins to uncover the town's tragic and tortured secrets and his fears escalate when he discovers that local children have been dying under mysterious circumstances. When those closest to him become threatened by the vengeful woman in black, Kipps must find a way to break the cycle of terror.
