We've been loving on Jose Padilha's Tropa de Elite sequel Elite Squad: The Enemy Within since way back at Sundance and it is finally making its way to theaters soon. The film will arrive from Variance Films and Flatiron Film Company at NYC's AMC Empire 25 on November 11th and LA's Laemmle Sunset 5 on November 18th with dates planned for Austin, Seattle, Portland, Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver and more soon after. As we reported, the film is also Brazil's entry for the Foreign Language Oscar which should give it some added caché in the crowded holiday season.
We've got a special treat for Twitch readers today with this exclusive clip from the film (along with the unveiling of the US Poster at left). The clip features Lt. Col. Nascimento (star Wagner Moura) standing up to the corruption that plagues his city the best way he knows how - with his two fists.
