AFI Fest 2011 to close with THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN North American Premiere

The final piece of the AFI Fest puzzle came together today as the fest announced the closing night gala will be the North American premiere of The Adventures of Tintin. Directed by Steven Spielberg and produced by Peter Jackson with digital effects by the Weta team that brought you Avatar, Tintin is certainly one of the most anticipated titles of the season. The writing team of Steven Moffat, Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish only increases the good buzz. The film stars Jamie Bell, Andy Serkis, Daniel Craig, Nick Frost and Simon Pegg.
