With the full series due to roll out soon, Adult Swim have just launched the pilot episode of the Black Dynamite animated show and it is chock full of love making, kung fu, fried chicken and stickin' it to the man. And also an evil frog.
Black Dynamite is proving to be a very resilient character. the live action film was a bona fide cult hit, the graphic novel put a raw edge on the formula and now the animated series plays up the comic side of things. Very fun. Check it out below.In this unaired pilot for the upcoming Black Dynamite series, our ass-kickin-friend-of-the-community Black Dynamite takes on his childhood mentor and surrogate father: That Frog Kurtis, a Puppet TV educator turned super villain!

Hmmm..... Not as good as the movie, but what is?
Animation is too Adult Swim for my taste, but the character designs and that song are good. Plus you got everybody from the movie.
I'll likely watch it.
