Just over two weeks away from the start of the Lund International Fantastic Film Festival in Lund, Sweden and the organizers have unveiled their full lineup and it is a good one, chock full of Twitch favorites!

Have you noticed a lack of Japanese splatter gore in the line up so far? Fret no more because Yoshihiro Nishimura's Helldriver is in the mix! The Western genre stands tall with Michael Fredianelli's The Scarlet Worm. You get your daily dose of swordplay with Donnie Yen in The Lost Bladesman. A little home grown talent will grace the screen with Filip Tegstedt's Swedish thriller Marianne. We have all sorts of love for Takashi Miike's 13 Assassins. The frantic Japanese flick Milocrorze: A Love Story and Argentinian horror flick Cold Sweat are just some of the titles to have graced our pages.

There are also a lot of European titles that I am sure we're going to have to catch up on now. Swiss mountain cult and horror flick Sennentuntschi: Curse of the Alps. The Dutch chime in with haunting horror Two Eyes Staring. French teens play by their own rules in The Edge. And there is also Finnish revenge flick Priest of Evil, quite possibly best title out of the entire line up. I don't know if after seeing the trailer if Finland is the 'country where I quite want to be'... ... anyone?

That is just the tip of the iceberg, or, glacier. I dunno. What do you have in Sweden? Either? Tickets are on sale now and you can see many more titles and the full schedule over at the official site. I've heard tale that one of our own will be there for the festival so hopefully we'll get some coverage for you folks as well. Our best wishes to the organizers!

Nice that the lineup is finally revealed. I'll try to catch a screening of 13 Assassins. That flick has a slow buildup but the latter half is so awesome that you will love the backstory we're given before all hell brakes loose. And another splatterfest by Nishimura? I don't mind if I do!

And by the way. There's very few icebergs in Sweden. The Norwegian shoreline takes care of those. So I would say that there's more glaciers than icebergs.

Well of course... I also have to attend the swedish premiere of Marianne... But, let's just say I'm a bit biased to the cinematography of that one. ;)
