Summer Blockbuster burnout? Well here's the cure! The Plaza Theatre in Atlanta is showing a pristine 35mm print of the Sergio Leone uber-classic The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly as part of their Coming Soon To A Theatre near You series.

The Plaza is a non-profit cinema, and Atlanta's longest running movie house, currently in it's 71'st year of operation. So get a double dose of cinema history, both on the screen and in the seats. No multiplex bullshit. No rude viewers. This is church people. Go and worship at the altar of real-honest-to-goodness celluloid, on a single screen, with others who share a deep and undying love of the visual arts. So fire up a cheroot, jump on your trusty burro, and go get retro with Clint, Lee, and Eli tomorrow night.

Keep your eyes on their programming too, as Mr. Ruder promises "I have so much cool material, it's a challenge to work out which ones to screen." Old school horror, sci-fi,comedy, and animation all will get their turn over the coming weeks.

Holy shit. I might go. I live a few hours away, but the drive would be worth it to see my favorite movie on a big screen. Thanks for sharing, Sean!
