Back at the end of July Twitch was the first to break word that director Noam Murro had departed Die Hard 5 and we were the first to tell you that the fifth installment of the series would send Bruce Willis as John McClane to Russia, this time accompanied by his son.
We also told you at the time that the directing gig had been offered to Max Payne and Behind Enemy Lines director John Moore had been offered the gig as his to take or leave. He's taken it.
Deadline has confirmed that Moore has taken the directing job after what they describe as a "long search process", a process that sounds more like Moore had to convince Willis he was the man for the job than anything else.

John Moore has yet to direct one great action film, lets hope he does a good job with this?? And please don't make it PG-13 (12A) go for the hard R (15 or 18)
I hate to say the eggs taste like shit before they hatch but........
Some 15 rated movies are rated PG-13 you know!
