Joe Cornish's Attack the Block rules like fucking lords! Truth. I saw it this weekend. Twice. Yes. It is that good.

After a very healthy per screen average from the first six cities where the sci-fi horror comedy opened the film will open in six other U.S. cities on August 19th. It will expand to Boston, Orlando, Atlanta, Dallas and Washington, D.C. Now you're saying to yourself. Andrew, you nunce, that's only five cities. Yes. You are as observant as you are capable of elementary level math.

Where is the sixth city? Well if you live in Philadelphia, Detroit, Miami, Houston, Phoenix, San Diego, Denver, Portland, Cleveland or Minneapolis you should head over to Facebook.com/AttackTheBlockMovie, Like it and then vote for your city. Which ever city has the most votes come this Friday, August 5th at 12 pm PST will get the film in their city on August 19. As I write this Phoenix is leading the way!

$17,198 is decent not "very healthy". No need to embellish

Well. It did that on only eight screens and was averaging per screen better than other films who had more than 3,300 screens. For a limited release film to do that against wide release studio films? I'm sticking to it.
