Vietnamese actor, martial artist and stunt man - he was heavily featured in the first two Spider-Man films - Johnny Nguyen first matched up with Veronica Ngo for 2007's hit effort The Rebel. The pair had such obvious chemistry that they became a couple in real life and then re-teamed on the big screen for the Tribeca selected smash hit Clash.

Trinh, a mercenary, must complete a series of organized crime jobs for her boss in order to win the release of her kidnapped daughter. She hires several mercenaries to help, including Quan, who she becomes attracted to. Trinh and Quan's relationship becomes complicated as it becomes evident that their motivations are not the same.

Fresh off a limited theatrical run Clash will soon be hitting DVD in the US courtesy of Indomina, who have just released a new trailer for the film. Check it below.

Is that guy the villain from Tom Yum Goong?

user-pic

Yup, he played the guy in flashy leather pants who fought Tony Jaa at the top of the restaurant.

Johnny's also one of only two people on the planet to have fought both Jet Li and Tony Jaa on screen.

It's amazing that a movie can star Jet Li, Mark Dacascos, and Johnny Nguyen, and still suck as bad as "Cradle 2 the Grave."

I cannot wait to see this flick. I loved "The Rebel." Johnny Nguyen is a bad-ass who knows how to fight and Miss Veronica Ngo is a total babe, especially with the haircut she has in this flick..

Shame on Indomina for not putting it out on blu-ray - aren't they the same folks who aren't giving "Bodyguards & Assassins" a blu-ray release? These guys really need to get it together.

There don't appear to be BluRay quality materials available for this one. It isn't on Blu anywhere.
