Some 18 long months after its world premiere, the hilarious hillbilly splatter comedy Tucker & Dale vs Evil is finally coming to theaters and VOD later this summer. Variety is reporting the Magnolia's Magnet Releasing will debut the pic August 26th via its Ultra VOD program ahead of a September 30th theatrical release.
We have loved Eli Craig's Alan Tudyk and Tyler Labine starrer from day one, calling it, "Hands down one of the funniest movies at Sundance." See our full review here.

I hope when they say it is getting a theatrical release it isn't being dumped into like 10 theaters like most non-hollywood blockbuster titles. I am really sick of that tactic.
