Jackboots On Whitehall - the WWII puppet animation film from the McHenry Brothers with the voices of Ewan McGregor, Alan Cumming, Tom Wilkinson and more - hits US shores soon with a VOD and DVD release coming July 26th from the Flatiron Film Company. And with a local release comes a new, local trailer for what must surely go down as one of the least reverent war films ever made.

On the South Coast of England, Chris, a young farm worker, dreams of the chance to join the army and fight in exciting new lands. His chance comes when the three top Nazi leaders, the enormous Goering, the malnourished Goebbels and the scarily campy Himmler, hatch a plan to invade England by drilling under the English Channel and into the heart of London. With the entire British army stuck in Dunkirk and no military support to defend the country, Churchill issues a final radio broadcast from his bunker in Downing Street - a cry for help.

Twitch will be premiering three exclusive clips from the film next week but, in the meantime, we've got the new trailer to whet the appetite. Check it below.

You're going to be premiering clips next week? Isn't that a little odd for a film that's already out on DVD?

No, because the film isn't out on DVD in the United States yet.

This one looks like a lot of fun. Looking forward to it!
