Spanish director Javier Chillon is one of my very favorite strange people in the world. Chillon first caught our eye a couple years with the wonderfully odd short film Die Schneider Krankheit (The Krankheit Disease). A brilliantly straight faced mock documentary / vintage propaganda film about a world coping with the arrival of a strange disease brought to earth by a crashed space capsule, Krankheit announced Chillon as a truly unique talent. He's been quiet since - there are rumblings of a feature script in the works - but now he's back with another off kilter short titled Decapoda Shock.
In the final stages of post now Chillon has just released a very brief teaser for his new work. It's weird. This makes me happy.
