Andre Ovredal's Troll Hunter is a film that should need no introduction here at Twitch. We were first to break word of it in the English speaking world, we premiered the Norwegian trailers and clips and have, in general, been the earliest and most vocal supporters of the film. Put simply, we like it rather a lot.
And Magnet Releasing are also rather fond of this moc-doc style film revealing the truth about trolls in northern Norway. Thus they will soon be bringing it to local shores and have just cut a trailer of their own.
Shot in a verite style, TROLLHUNTER is the story of a group of Norwegian film students that set out to capture real-life trolls on camera after learning their existence has been covered up for years by a government conspiracy. A thrilling and wildly entertaining film, TROLLHUNTER delivers truly fantastic images of giant trolls wreaking havoc on the countryside, with darkly funny adherence to the original Norwegian folklore.
The new US trailer has just arrived over at Apple and it's a good one.
