Harry Potter's All Grown Up In The Trailer For Hammer's THE WOMAN IN BLACK

Will Daniel Radcliffe manage to have a career outside of Harry Potter? All signs so far point to yes, with Radcliffe pushing boundaries and winning good critical notice for his work in live theater but his first post-Potter test on screen comes in the form of The Woman In Black.

An adaptation of Susan Hill's novel - filmed once before as a 1989 UK television movie - coming from the newly reformed Hammer Films, The Woman In Black puts Radcliffe in the lead of a picture that allows him to act his age and show something a little different than his role as the most famous boy-wizard ever committed to paper.

And, though the just released teaser is quite brief, it appears as though he acquits himself quite well. And not only does Radcliffe look compelling in the part but the film itself looks very solid, embodying the class and atmosphere that Hammer was synonymous for at its original peak. Take a look below.

Looks promising, although it'll take a lot to match the TV version forcreepiness, and Hammer's comeback films have so far been atrocious. Keeping the fingers crossed, anyway...

Can't play the trailer for some reason.

I wouldn't say ALL of the new Hammer Films are bad, Let Me In was a great film so if they can at least match that in the terms of a "re"whatever we want to call this then I am there.
