A team of eight talented students from Animation Workshop, a school in Denmark, brings a grim yet fresh visual style for their 2011's bachelor film project The Backwater Gospel. The short is reminiscent more of a horror flick rather than a western, seamlessly combining CG and flash animation with morbid character designs render in a cell-shaded illustration quality.
