With their launch vehicle now well and truly launched with Cat Shit One now available on DVD and BluRay the folks at Japan's IDA are now looking to drum up support for their next project: kaiju animation Gomera.
All that exists at present is a teaser designed to drum up publicity and investment but the teaser is a good one with a couple quality tastes of tentacle action.
Though still quite young IDA are quickly establishing themselves as an ultra high end production house with fantastic production values, a unique style and very geek-friendly story sensibilities. Check out Gomera below.

Gomera? Seriously, as excited I am to see someone still making Kaiju flicks (CG or other - loved Negadon), they may need some more deep thinkers if that's the only name they could come up with. How about Gadzilla?
Alays glad to see Kaiju movies still being made but like stated above How about putting some thought into the name. Gomera sounds like an STD that Gamera could get.
