CLASH (BAY RONG) Coming In A Limited Release March 11th In The US

by J Hurtado, February 17, 2011 11:17 AM

Johnny Tri 's latest testament to his badassness will be showing in limited release in selected cities around the USA.  We here at Twitch have been very positive about this film, including me.  I reviewed Clash during last year's Asian Film Festival of Dallas, where I did something I almost never do, I saw it twice.

We previously reported that Indomina Releasing had picked up the home video rights, and while we still have yet to see what they'll do with that, I'm glad someone else picked up the ball on the theatrical front and we are getting a chance to see it.

Opening dates and theaters are listed below:

March 11, 2011
AMC Pacific Place 11 (Seattle)
AMC Parks at Arlington (Dallas)
AMC Firewheel 18 (Dallas)
AMC Loews Fountains 18 (Houston)
Regal Garden Grove 16 (Garden Grove)
Edwards Westminster 10 (Westminster)
Regal Hollywood 24 @ I-85 (Atlanta)
Regal Lloyd Mall 8 (Portland)

March 18, 2011
Camera 12 Downtown (San Jose)

March 25,2011
AMC Southdale 16 (Southdale)

Or anything else. At this rate we'll see a Golden Harvest Blu-ray Classics line from Warner Bros. (with PEDICAB DRIVER and THE BLADE as launch titles) before Indomina can produce a list of tentative release dates and a functional website to host that list on. Still it's unquestionably a good thing that someone's putting out CLASH in (a few parts of) the US, even if it isn't the people who wrote such an awesome press release about acquiring the rights to it.
