Though budget limitations are somewhat apparent writer-director Stefan Muller has hit on an intriguing premise for his film Tartarus. It is 1813 and a pair of soldiers returning home from the Napoleonic War are caught in the middle of something unimaginable when meteors fall from the sky carrying hostile visitors with them.
Due for Austrian release in November there are a pair of trailer available for the film now. I include the longer, theatrical version both because it includes more footage and because it was clearly prepared when the film was farther in the post production process than was the first teaser so the over all look and feel is better.
