Do you like monsters? Do you like busty girls in bikinis? Do you like busty girls fighting monsters? Then Noboru Iguchi's The Ancient Dogoo Girls is the television series for you!
The follow up to the Iguchi supervised Ancient Dogoo Girl - a series that featured compatriots Yoshihiro Nishimura and Takeshi Shimizu in the director's chair - series two features more girls, more monsters, more bikinis, and - seemingly - a bit more money for production. Some of that money goes to the expanded cast with the five new monster fighting trainees - High Kick Girl's Rina Takeda among them - but some definitely went to upping the overall visual quality a touch and certainly some small smidge went to bring the series - or at least part of it - to you in old school red-blue 3D!
The first trailer for the new series has arrived and you know what? This looks like a big bucket of fun.

To be fair, there is only ONE busty girl in a bikini fighting monsters in that trailer...
I'm still not sure what to make of this. While I welcome a new season of Dogoo-chan, I'm not convinced of the necessity of having 5 other Dogoo-chans.
