The Town is the second full length feature from thespian turned director Ben Affleck.It will be screening at the Venice International Film Festival in a few days, but here is the official poster and a feature clip (below).
It is a gritty, authentic crime-caper-thriller, and the short clip featured focuses on the moody backdrop and conflicted group dynamics, amid the thick Boston accents.
The plot concerns the leader of the criminal collective as he develops a complex relationship with the bank manager (Rebecca Hall) after she is caught up in their last robbery, and the FBI agent (Jon Hamm) obsessed with taking them down.
The Town currently has no confirmed general release date.
