No surprise here at all but still, it's nice to have it confirmed: Sylvester Stallone has told the LA Times that he is planning a sequel to The Expendables. Frankly, I'd be shocked if he wasn't doing this as, after a pair of career reviving films looking back over his past this seemed an obvious move to create a new franchise moving forward and the entire structure of the premise is clearly designed to keep on kicking out more films as long as there is demand for them. We should know after seeing the weekend box office whether or not this will actually happen ...

Here's my wish list of cast that I would like to see appear in a sequel to The Expendables if possible:
Donnie Yen
Scott Adkins
Bolo Yeung
Michael Jai White
Quinton "Rampage" Jackson
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson
Sonny Chiba
Nothing against Dwayne Johnson, please.
The guy has a talent to act.
Van Damme in the second installement would be very appreciated.
And of course more of Schwarzenegger and Willis.
What about Carl Weathers?
...and Jeff Speakman? If you recall, he was a perfect weapon.
@ Todd
Yes, I thought the same about Be Cool. The Rock really surprised me there. That's why I prefer the Rock over Vin Diesel.
You guys watched Be Cool? Really? Really?
The sequel better not have shaky-cam. Also, they need a mercenary expendables team as an enemy; finally they need to remove the CGI.
