[Updated with a higher quality version of the trailer.]

The best globule of cinematic madness that I caught on the festival circuit in 2009 is going to start hitting a few theatrical venues for its commercial release in September.  IFC is finally getting around to marketing the film on this side of the pond.  Less risque than the Japanese marketing (naturally) the cut of the new US trailer, currently hosted at Apple in all shapes and sizes, fittingly promises a hallucinatory and trippy ride.  Emphasizes the family element of the film a bit heavily, but no issues here.  See this film on as large a screen possible.   Despite the urge to grab some 'shrooms and trip out on the crazy iridescent fractals o' plenty, I recommend you go into the experience stone-cold sober, as Enter The Void itself is the drug.

The film splits the Twitch Staff down the middle in the love it, hate it department, but hey, be a man and decide for yourself.

I've seen Enter the Void in Moscow cinema this spring. Was waiting for it so long...but film disappointed me..
this video contains the whole sense from the three hours of dizzy light

sorry for my english

oh. sorry to hear that. the jap trailer and the us trailer looks good and that poster looks interesting too. the void idea seems interesting, but the two kids talking to each other less so. maybe needed a bigger budget. ar that she does.

Is there any indication as to whether IFC is releasing this completely uncut or not?

"Cut" or "Uncut" is a strange label to apply to Enter The Void. It was being tweaked across festivals (The Cannes version was different than the Toronto version) I'm not sure if there was any further tinkering going on afterwards. I imagine for a film like this it is sort of 'all or nothing' and the release will be limited enough to guess that 'uncut' is probably right.

But I do not have the answer to that question.

The website shows NR for Not Rated, so if it is cut from any previous versions, it won't be for violence/sex censorship reasons.

Not rated simply means that no-one has submitted it to a ratings board yet.

It's highly probable that it won't be submitted. Irreversible and I Stand Alone both went out in the US unrated.
