I was really glad this arrived sans the muddy 3D conversion that was thrown into theaters. But the simple truth is Clash of the Titans barely registers at all. I even tried to enjoy this as a simple monster movie but to be honest, it just didn't look that good. I watched it on a 52 inch Samsung and it looked more or less like a cheap made for TV movie a little too much of the time. By that I mean the quality of the effects, not just the fact that the effects were largely CGI. Without the guiding hand of a Harryhausen it boils down to a group of modern effects sequences that mostly serve to remind viewers how magical the original film really was and . Only the Kraken really works on it's own here.I even tried to enjoy this as a simple monster movie but to be honest, I'm not sure I'd watch it again.
Special Features include what's called Maximum Movie Mode- a doc- which can be watched separately or picture-in-picture; enhanced scene breakdowns; enhanced VFX breakdowns; on-the-spot vignettes; close-up views of the Kraken, the Scorpiochs, Medusa, stuntwork, filming locales, etc. There's also a separate featurette Sam Worthington: An Action Hero for the Ages and Alternate ending: Perseus confronts Zeus on Mount Olympus as well as some Additional scenes.

Worst movie I've watched this year. Definitely a Crash. I'm tempted to buy the DVD for the sole purpose of feeding it into a shredder. But then I have better ways to spend that money.
I saw this recently as well. I really enjoyed the movie. I thought it was well done, mindless fun. The effects were great. For the life of me I can't understand why so many people disparage it. Sure the story was full of holes but I didn't go into expecting brilliance. I wanted good fantasy. I hated on the film after reading reviews but when I saw it, I was very happy with it. Always room for improvement. Some folks take this stuff too seriously. It was not the travesty that some made it out to be.
