Was that bad? Oh, most certainly. But sadly it's not as far below average as it ought to be. Who'd bat an eye if they saw a similarly bad trailer for a Lionsgate Chinese import or a DTV horror title? Look at the awful, cringeworthy trailer Well Go just put out recently for IP MAN. It might be better than this but it's the difference between a D+ and a D-.
Looks like a shitty movie, but the trailer is average. Nothing you wouldn't see from any American studio for the most part.
I thought that was Minnie Driver in the poster, I was quite confused.
