It's Twenty Four Minutes Of Bunny Versus Camel Carnage In The First Episode Of CAT SHIT ONE!

The bunnies are coming. And they're heavily armed.

As promised, the first episode of Japan's ultra-violent CG-animated adaptation of Motofumi Kobayashi's Cat Shit One arrived online Saturday. It's free and loaded down with guns-blazing bunny inflicted violence.

It is also, unfortunately, geo-blocked. Which means it's meant to be unavailable to anyone outside of Japan.

Now, I'm not going to post it up in Twitch's native video player because doing so would be like waving a flag around while dancing naked and shouting "Sue me!". I will, however, be more than happy to point out what shitty technology geo-blocking really is since it relies on IP address and IPs are about as difficult to change as a hat. Ready? These instructions based on Firefox, IE and other browsers are basically the same, though.

1.  Open a fresh tab and do a google search for "Free IP Proxy Japan". This should give you a list of available IPs that you can use to mask your location. Though it's not the fastest one going, I find that 124.146.184.93 (Port 80) is a good, reliable one.

2. Hit Tools, then Options, then Network, then Settings.

3. Select Manual Proxy Configuration, then enter your proxy IP and port numbers in the appropriate spaces.

And presto! As far as your computer is concerned, you're in Japan! Now refresh this page and watch the bunny carnage to your heart's content.

Hey Todd!! Any thoughts on why in the episode there isn't a drop of blood when the enemy is taking hits? I caught a promo where there was added blood to the effects. Was just hopeing to see blood shed!! The first episode was still awesome as hell though and i'm more then looking forward to seeing what's next.

Wow, I'm hooked. Didn't understand a word but I love it.
But what is it supposed to represent? The Soviet-Afghan conflict?
I mean, the characters' names sound Russian, the enemies look like some kind of typical middle eastern bad guys stereotypes and the fact that their air support is a Mi-24 Hind make me believe it is.

I'll have to look if there's a fan dub version I can download somewhere

GREAT POST, THANKS

Very interesting, I'm watching it now. For those of you who can't proxy or can't be bothered you can watch it here (It also has English subs): http://www.gogoanime.com/cat-shit-one-episode-1

@Sebastien
I'm not so sure its representing the Soviet-Afghan conflict, I think it's probably set around the Gulf War judging by the kit their using (Updated M21 rifle, M4' with rails and modern looking pistols and chest rigs)
