Going in to this there can really only be one question. Has Vietnamese director Tran Anh-Hung done justice to the source material? Adapted from a novel by the great Haruki Murakami - the first of his major works to be adapted for the big screen - the expectations run very high for Norwegian Wood.
Honestly, the freshly released teaser shows too little to really make any conclusive judgment but it is certainly a step in the right direction. As an added perk they managed to get the license for the original Beatles tune, which is no small feat and very important for a film where music will play such a large part. Check it below.
