Stuart Hazeldine's Exam has been turning heads and winning raves on the festival circuit for a little while now and with the picture slated to premiere on the IFC Midnight VOD channel July 23rd a new US trailer has just arrived.
The picture is a classic single room thriller a la Cube or Fermat's Room, with a diverse group of strangers locked in to an extreme situation and forced to escalating levels of violence to ensure their own survival. It's a solid formula when used well and this looks to do rather well with it, indeed. Here's the synopsis:

Shown into a windowless examination room, eight candidates for a prestigious job at a mysterious corporation have reached the final stage of selection. They're given eighty minutes to write an answer to one question. Turning over their questions papers to start, however, they are found to be completely blank.
As the clock ticks down, they must figure out what the company expects of them, and how far they are prepared to go to secure the ultimate job.

Looks slick but really makes me want to watch "The Gronholm Method" again.
This is worth watching. It's a very smart film that really gets you thinking. And it is played out in real time which we don't see to often.
