Good news everyone! Well Go USA has picked up the North American rights for Mamoru Oshii's sci-fi chicks killing worms movie Assault Girls. And they are wasting no time getting ready to dish out the goods this coming October with Japanese and English audio tracks and English subtitles.
There is yet an official press release, nor is there cover art yet, but you can be guaranteed that we will have both ready for you once word gets out.

Hope it'll be available on Blu-ray. YesAsia has it on pre-order for $65 which is a bit too much.
As with all foreign releases, there will be a limited theater release of the film before the disc release.
I'm in one of those "limited release" markets, so looking forward to seeing the film on the big screen...
