The new international trailer for Scott Pilgrim Vs The World should be the only trailer they ever show anyone for this film ever again. You see, as much as I love everything I've seen from the film so far - and I really, really do - I've also had a bit of a hard time figuring out how they were going to sell it to anyone other than thirty-something, Toronto-centric geeks such as myself. Now I get it.
Don't get me wrong, all the genre mashup stuff that makes the title so unique is still very much in this trailer - which features the first appearance so far of Ramona's giant hammer, I believe - but it's now presented in a way that is much more focused and, I think, should make a lot more sense to those outside the Pilgrim cult. Tasty.

I have stopped watching trailers and clips from this movie. I know I am going to love it but I do not want to overexpose myself too early.
Also I think Michael Cera is perfect for Scott. Suck it, nerds!

I'll fill you in: Scott Pilgrim is NOT the story of George Michael Bluth going into witness protection.
So yeah, I'm gonna have to disagree that he's perfect for Scott..

Actually, I have. I also believe he is capable of more than the one character he has been playing so far, and I also think there is nobody better equipped currently to play him. And he has the vote of confidence from Bryan Lee O'Malley, who I would think has a pretty good sense of the characer and Cera.
