Real world life may have been claiming my time and energy for the past couple days but you just can't keep a good dream down ...
As Christopher Nolan's Inception draws closer the process of educating the audience on what exactly this beast is continues. The latest volley is a new character based trailer that sketches out who is who and who does what and does rather a nice job of it while largely avoiding spoiler territory. Yes, rather looking forward to it.

Love the other "teaser" trailers but once I watched the spoiler on this trailer I had to shut it off.
Can't wait for this film though... Not enough good Sci-Fi films being released...
Nice. If only Page had shorter hair the Paprika influence would have been even more noticeable.
As much as I dug the basic idea at the outset, and found some of the initial visuals and world design intriguing, this is the first real indication for me of who these people are, and the implications which are building in their actions. Now, without a doubt, I am definitely seeing it.
After watching Shutter Island, I'm going to see anything with DiCaprio in it. But somehow this one feels like a remake of The Matrix...
iv been reading thru all the comments to do with Inception and frankly im tired of people bangin on and comparing it to avatar or TDK and generally bashing it before its even released, you know as well as i do that this film is gonna be ace, whether its in i max or on your phone.
nolan has always presented us with something interesting and outside the box ,be it victorian magicians or forgetfull diabetics and he always delivers. we should stop gettin our knickers in a twist and wait till july and then we can rip it to shreds or bum it! does anyone remember christmas when you were a kid, it was always better gettin the presents you didnt put on your list!!...and to the people who have seen paprika, we get it...blah blah "ooo its like the red dress" blah blah "glass of reality" blah blah blah........the other day i watched salo and it was just like goonies but instead of the truffle shuffle and general shenanigans it was bumming children and eating shit.
I'm most probably banned now....
To studog888 --- Assface, are you drunk or just naturally this stupid?
NOBODY here is ripping Inception, NOBODY has their knickers in a twist. If you've been to this site before and read any of the Inception threads I'm there stating how I can't wait for this film.
I love Nolan's work, there's a lot of directors whose films I don't care to own but I've got almost everything Nolan has done for the very reasons you state.
If you'd bother reading the full posts instead of latching on to some line you think is dissing the film you'd have read where I said the film looks awesome but I guess when your in a drunken stupor it's easy to fly into some moronic rant.
Dear Archie.........im tea total so thru the process of elimination im naturally stupid, which quite frankly comes as a relief, for many years i have pondered the very being that is me and although iv never touched one drop of the thing my nanna would call the devils tonic(just before she beat me and left me under the stairs) my brain cells still rapidly depleat...so i thank you sir Arch of stantonshire for the help and generosity you have shown me and forever i shall hold you dear to my heart...
Firstly if youve checked out all the threads on all the sites on all the web,(even the threads on twitch) divvy little fanboys (very much like yourself) are saying exactly the same things over and over again....
Secondly i dont care if youve stated over again how you cant wait to see it,you never crossed my mind when i posted so i apologise to you and anyone else struggling to undo their knotted under garments although i clearly stated "we" and not you.
Thirdly please if your gonna use d tinterweb try not to offend people personally i.e assface.....really....of all the names you could use and that was the best????
Fourth..ly..(im not sure thats a word) which directors do you not care for??? i hate wes anderson and all his drivell filled movies though i do love p.w.s anderson(shame on me)
And finally.. moronic rants make the world go round instead of rehashing crap you read on imdb, i choose TWITCH(which i love by the way) to air my rants coz it seems like iv finally found a movie site that appreciates the off balanced world of the genre movie, where else can i keep up with french horror or german sci fi in one place, all the other sites, Empire, rotton toms or that fat ginger bastard with the glasses just dont cut the mustard... surely a man of your ilk can understand...you are a sir after all..
Please humor me and cheer up ...its christmas XXX
P.S where or when can i see A SERBIAN FILM, im intrigued....mind you the last time i was intrigued i watched HUMAN CENTIPEDE, im tellin ya, the kids did not like that one bit...
That settles it: studog888 is drunk (tee-totaler or not). ;-)
To Arch Stanton: chill, I didn't think he was referring to us here, but look at AICN or IGN and you can read some very weird rants that studig does seem to refer to. Then again: what else is new, regardless of which film we're talking about?
To studog888: I get what you're saying about people often finding links between movies that are either too farfetched or too bloody obvious, but when you have a sci-fi thriller about people entering dreams and you get that mirror-scene... I know neither Satoshi Kon nor Christopher Nolan exactly invented the mirror (or its many uses in film) but this still seems like a direct nod to "Paprika".
But frankly... a sci-fi thriller by Christopher Nolan, partially inspired by "Paprika" is what I call GOOD NEWS !!!
