Good news for animation fans! Sony Pictures Classics has just announced that they have picked up all North American rights to Sylvain Chomet's The Illusionist and will be releasing the film in theatres before the end of the year. Sony Classics also handled Chomet's previous film, The Triplets of Belleville, so this isn't exactly a surprise but is good news, nonetheless.
