Tony Jaa goes balls-to-the-wall crazy, more so than ever before as hard as that is to believe. Not only does he recklessly smash, slash and hurl his victims to oblivion, he even takes a bite out of a poor sap's neck!? Holy shit! And what the hell is going on with Dan Chupong? This guy looks like someone straight out of a Heavy Metal band.
The legend of Ong Bak 3 begins after Tien (Tony Jaa) has lost his fighting skills and his beloved step-father at the Garuda's Wing cliff from the raid led by Jom Rachan (Saranyu Wonggrajang). Tien is brought back to life with the help from Pim (Primrata Dechudom) as well as Mhen (Petchai Wongkamlao) and the Kana Khone villagers. Deep into the meditation taught by Phra Bua (Nirutti Sirijanya), Tien finally is able to achieve 'Nathayut'. His talents are put to the test again when his rivals including the Golden-Armored King's Guard (Supakorn 'Tok' Kijusuwan), the mysterious killers in black, and Bhuti Sangkha (Dan Chupong) return for the final massive showdown. The film arrives theatrically in Thailand on May 5th. Check out the over-the-top insanity below.

WOW. After that mess Ong Bak 2 my hopes are rejuvenated.
That is going to be so freakin' awesome!! I loved Ong Bak 2, and I can't wait to see this one!!!
Fuck yeah I'm pumped.
The action looks great I hope this one makes a bit more sense than the last.
..Remember Ong Bak 1? That modern/urban film that was a breath of fresh air to the whole martial arts scene? It's been a long 7 years since that film. These sequels aren't helping.
The previous film was abysmal except for the fight scenes. But I am still looking forward to this one because I want to see how it ends the story.
No idea what is going on in the trailer, though.
o______O!
Ong Bak 3, more ong bakier
I'm digging the supernatural elements in this one and also glad to see the elephants make an appearance almost towards the end!
How can anyone not enjoy Ong Bak 2??? I love the gladiator pit/warrior medieval theme this franchise is going... This one is like amped up to infinity!!!!
Ong Bak 2 was such a crap film. Firsr one was the same but at least it was quite original about the fights. This one looks better. Let´s see what happens.
I seriously have no idea why people are hating Ong Bak 2 so much, i had plenty of fun watching it.
i ain't hating on Ong Bak 2. I just think it wasn't good. Period. It had some good elements in it, but overall, good fight scenes do not make a good fight MOVIE. And Ong Bak 2's fight scenes weren't the best. Some of it was waaaaaay too staged. I think they sacrificed some of the rawness (and awesomeness) that was in Ong Bak 1, just to incorporate the other martial art styles. They didn't fail horribly, but it was certainly noticeable. And it wasn't over-the-top lovably obvious choreography like in Tom Yum Goong... that campiness / candy colored fun wasn't in Ong Bak 2. Gotta strike a good balance for the film and its fight scenes.
That said, from this trailer alone, Ong Bak 3 is looking more fun, now that they're incorporating supernatural elements into it. Its like: "AH. THAT was what was missing".
So far there is nothing from Tony Jaa that I can say I have not liked. He is fantastic. The only thing I say that I think he tried to take on too much in OB2. He should let his mentor do the directing. I not saying that Tony does not have a good eye, he just needs to do that when he is not trying to do everything else. That being said, I know that I am going to enjoy this movie. For those who said that the plot is not that good and that there should be campiness in this movie does not really know what the deal is. If you pay attention to the story, it makes sense. I know what some people are looking for in the movie but I thought it delivered for me in my book. I cannot wait for this one. Jaa and Donnie yen have really put their heart and soul in too their movies and you can feel that. No phoniness at all. People need to appreciate it.
It looks good (and looks like he's improved his acting a bit), but when is Tony Jaa going to stop making Ong Bak movies and start making a super gritty traditional muay thai/muay boran movie? :)
You Ong Bak 2 haters are lame. Ong Bak 1 and 2 are in the top 10 new martial art movies list. I can't speak for you all but I've sat through tons of wack ass Shaw Bros. movies and other Asian movies that had shit storylines and great martial arts. I could care less about story half of the time i fast forward to the fights. Go watch Shakespear you douchy hipster fake martial arts movie fans. Holla at me hannibalberetta@facebook.com
Ong Bak 1 and 2 were a blast to watch and Tony raised the bar when it comes to martial arts films. I can't wait to see this final Ong Bak, The action looks insane. Not many MA film stars on his level.
I don't know what the hell is with all the people who hated ONG BAK 2. Does not compute.
it's nice to see Tien back with Pim again.
to bad Pim will be captured and calls for Tien...and Tien will rip that b*tches neck off:)
What is with that name calling Ironfader. IMHO Ong Bak 1 was a mediocre film with awesome action. Ong Bak 2 was more imilar to a film but quite poor in all acounts. This looks better alrite. If you can´t stand other people´s opinions go back to AICN. And definitely I like my Shakespeare over Jaa films anyday. BTW, I love your cv, you have seen so many movies!
On Bak 2 was awesome.
And I,m pretty sure 3 will be as well.
If you are like me and always looking for a good fight movie one should also check out the Ip Man and Ip Man 2 it is equally match to the ong bak movies no joke.
its based of the story of the man who taught Bruce Lee. a must see.
No fighting fan could ask for more.
i love the first two he did an glade he made another i hope he keeps up the awsomeness :D
