Yes, Mother hits theaters in the US this Friday, March 12th and to celebrate we've got two signed posters to offer up to you, the loyal Twitch reader. And to sweeten the pot even further they're going to throw in a copy of the two disc DVD release of Bong's hit creature feature The Host as well.

Actually it's coming out soon in the UK from Optimum who picked it up end of last year

Because no Asian film ever gets a release in the UK that doesn't come out in the US. The US is the asscrack of the Earth when it comes to Asian films getting released here. Forgive me if my sympathy levels are... lacking.

Oh Rhythm. It's not as if it was actually a serious post but you've had both Thirst and Mother before us now, and it has to stop. We're meant to have foreign films before you, because we get everything else after you.

I'm with Rhythm-X on this one. It is such a pain in the ass that in order to see most Asian movies I have to buy a region free player and then import the disks. I am just happy most Korean blurays are region A and have subs. Still gotta import em though.

In Belgium we have a plethora of movie festivals screening Asian films this month, so I will go see "Mother" (and "Thirst") on Saturday :D
