The much-loved Canadian creature-feature-Frankenstein-parenting-drama Splice is getting a release in June of this year, so says Box-Office Mojo. The film has gotten much well-deserved praise and anticipation in these parts, well, because it is precisely the type of ambitious genre-film we happen to dig. We are happy that the Sitges and Sundance Film Festivals managed to cure its distributor woes and let Dren her spread wings onto many screens in the multiplex.
Hat tip to Firstshowing.net and Collider for the heads up.
