Not one to let injustice go unpunished, a rematch between Tony Jaa and Dan Chupong is surely inevitable. The domestic Ong Bak 3 teaser trailer has hit online and we get to see some of this rivalry in action. It should be an interesting battle when you have two of the biggest Thai martial art superstars going toe-to-toe.
The legend of Ong Bak 3 begins after Tien (Tony Jaa) has lost his fighting skills and his beloved step-father at the Garuda's Wing cliff from the raid led by Jom Rachan (Saranyu Wonggrajang). Deep into the meditation taught by Phra Bua (Nirutti Sirijanya), Tien finally is able to achieve 'Nathayut'. His talents are put to the test again when his rivals including the Golden-Armored King's Guard (Supakorn 'Tok' Kijusuwan), the mysterious killers in black, and Bhuti Sangkha (Dan Chupong) return for the final massive showdown. The film arrives theatrically in Thailand on May 5th. teaser looks good, similar stuff as in ong bak 2 but im a sucker for all this crazy martial arts. cant wait for the actual trailer so i can watch that like 100 times, then buy the dvd when its released in the US like 2 years from now.
DVD in 2 years? I won't be waiting that long. I will cop the first region 2 or 3 release. Can't wait to see it though. Looks like he is using more of the Khon (?) dance style in the choreography. I hope he includes the animal forms again. It was fun seeing him perform those styles.
Look good! can what for a proper trail!
Looks like Tony will be picking up some dance moves battle his enemies. Those elephant stunts look insanely dangerous, though.
Looking at that promo image with the chains wrapped around Tony Jaa's forearms, I thought "This shit just got real.....". Totally excited for this film.
