2010 may end up being called The Year Cage Came Back when all is said and done. With his Werner Herzog directed performance in BAD LIEUTENANT: PORT OF CALL NEW ORLEANS, and his role as Big Daddy in the highly anticipated KICK-ASS, good ole' Nic may be back on track. Add SEASON OF THE WITCH to the pile of flicks that are looking good.

Gotta love plague doctors.
This has possibilities, cliche one-liners aside. Although I'm not a into the stealing of the title from Romero's underrated flick, I'm also glad it's not a remake either.
I thought it was the cool Donovan Song that it was stealing from! ;)
Cliche's one liners? My my my...whatever do you speak of?
Romero madamecurry? You mean Carpenter? I remember being a very pissed 13 year old when I saw Halloween III: Season Of The Witch in the theatre and not seeing Michael Myers up on the screen. It's nearly 28 years later and I still haven't gotten over it.
Oh, and this movie looks utterly ridiculous...you kinda know when you're dealing with shite when a Marylin Manson song is included on the trailer.
Oof! Good point about the Marilyn Manson song. I'm hoping that's just the trailer.
I still think it looks like big dumb fun.
And NO cuckoo, madamecurry indeed means Romero. George A. did a film titled Season Of The Witch long before Halloween came along.
Oh, madamecurry must've meant Hungry Wives (aka Season Of The Witch) then? My bad.
