I am just going to let the trailer do the talking here. But my hopes
just jumped up considerably after checking this bad boy out. Loving the
cinematography, the homages to the first installment, and the cast. July
7, 2010 I will have my ass in a seat, first showing. Here's hoping for a
"Dutch" cameo, which has been rumored.
I'd buy that for a dollar! (Even without all the beefcake of the original, or the jamacian voodoo and Gary Busy of the underrated sequel!)

Was never that big of a Predator fan per say, I did like seeing the image of an Alien skull on the wall of kills within the Predator ship. And I've never understood how a human could be a threat or a challenge to a predator.
This trailer may have just changed my opinion though, especially with the diverse cast (not just a bunch of meat head soldiers) and horror style tension.
I saw the trailer before "Repo Men" this weekend and I get the very distinct impression that this is not so much a re-make as it appears to be a "re-sequel" with all the elements from the first movie, but apparently not on Earth.
I wonder if Rodriguez is an Alien vs Predator game fan? The games essentially take place off planet where humanity stumbles upon Predator artifacts that have been over run by aliens.
The trailer definitely left me VERY curious about this film!
