I'm at work watching this. And, I'm running with scissors.
Should've cautioned for the strobe effect. Though, Gaspar Noe being who he is shame on me.
Not sure if I can deal with 2.5 hours of over the shoulder perspective. Is the dialogue this stilted throughout the film?

Saw an interview with NOE yesterday on IFC, he said that he haven't read the script from beginning to end in the last six months, weird but not surprising since the guy is much more a visual director than anything else. This movie was filmed in what you can call "the sex district of Tokyo" where pretty much everything goes and the set was guarded by the Yakuza!!! Also, since he doesn't speak or understand Japanese he sometimes, after a take, ask the guy beside him if the line were ok and he replies: "yes it's ok" (again, visual director!) Since I liked Irreversible I'll give this one a look, maybe at Fantasia this summer who knows?
