Oh my. The teaser back in January only gave a brief glimpse of the stunning look of Tetsuya Nakshima's upcoming film Confession/Kokuhaku. And now that the full trailer has come out there is more and more to love and anticipate about this film. Impressive to say the least.
Actress Takako Matsu (K-20, Villon's Wife) plays a dedicated teacher at a junior high school who's young daughter is found brutally murdered. Believing two of her own students are responsible, she decides to leave the school, but not before a final chilling confession to her class in which she informs them that she's already enacted her plan for vengeance. A series of further confessions bring other incidents regarding students to light, leading up to a shocking plot twist. NipponCinema

Is it me or is the trailer not working, clicking it but nothing happens.
This one has something from Love Exposure and something from Park Chan Wook. It looks like another film of the year.
I can't wait to see.
Gives me the feeling of the original Battle Royale with the crazed students and dramatic music. Takako Matsu has really been shining recently, not that she hasn't in the past. Really looking forward to this.
that trailer got me interested. looks really good.
trailer doesn't work for me either.
What trailer?
Holy smokes! Best trailer I've seen this year. If this doesn't play at NYAFF... I will be heart stricken. Grady, Grady, Grady, I hope you're getting this one scheduled.
Don't know what to say guys and gals. I can see the trailer just fine. Try going to NipponCinema [via the link] and watching it there.
If you are having problems with the trailers it is because you are running an ad and / or script blocker in your browser. The problem is at your end, not ours. The Twitch player is script based, not java, which is why it works on iPhones while VImeo and other players do not so if you run a blocker it may interfere with the player.
Can anyone tell, what's that classical music playing in the trailer? The full orchester part with the choir and all, I mean? Thanks!
Saw last night @ NYAFF. Brilliant, stunning, disturbing, stylistically, visually riveting!! Radiohead's "Last Flowers" musically fits the mood and Nakashima's latest leaves you thinking about this flick long after viewing. Hope this gem of a film find a US distributor FAST!
FANTASTIC!!
