Oh, Bey. That's just not fair. With The Blood Bond - the debut feature from Bey Logan's start up production house B&E Productions - now in post production, the label has announced the rest of their upcoming production slate.
And what do you think is going to attract all the attention? Will it be animated feature Little Gobie? Michael Wong's Rogue Option? Or, perhaps, could it be Choy Li Fut, a period action film to be co-produced by and star the iconic Gordon Liu?
Nope. Not when the next film to go into production is beach volleyball themed action comedy Beach Spike, starring Chrissie Chau - pictured above - and The Blood Bond's Phoenix Chou. Let's be honest. This could be horrible and still make a big bag of money.

The debut B&E Productions project, 'The Blood Bond', is currently in post-production. It was directed by and stars Michael Biehn ('Terminator', 'Tombstone') and new action heroine Phoenix Chou, alongside veteran and prolific Hong Kong star Simon Yam and mainland model Emma Pei. 'The Blood Bond 'was shot at Ace Studios in Nanhai, and in partnership with Fundamental Films and T-Films.
Producer Bey Logan is happy to announce that actor Michael Wong ('Knock Off', 'Beast Cops') agreed to play a cameo role in the film as a helicopter pilot. B&E are currently planning a reboot of Michael's 'First Option' franchise, a series of Hong Kong-style SWAT team thrillers. 'Rogue Option' is currently at script stage, with Wong himself set to direct.
B&E partner Bey Logan was also a producer on the T-Films animated feature 'Little Gobie', the seasonal tale of a young reindeer on a quest to save his pet by begging Santa Claus for three wishes. The non-Asian rights for this 3-D feature, directed by Tony Tang, have been acquired by The Weinstein Company.
B&E's next live-action project has the working title 'Beach Spike!', and combines 'Shaolin Soccer'-style sports action with kung fu fighting, as bikini-wearing Asian babes compete in beach volleyball. This summer action comedy stars current Hong Kong 'it' girl Chrissie Chau with 'Blood Bond' lead Phoenix Chou cast as her rival.
The company is further developing a reversed 'Rush Hour' script, 'Harlem Goes East', about a black American cop on an adventure in China; 'Lady Transporter'(working title), a starring vehicle for Phoenix Chou, with the actress playing a female armed escort working the Russian/Mongolian border; 'Choy Li Fut', a period actioner about the founder of this southern Chinese kung fu style, to be co-produced with and co-starring Gordon Liu ('36th Chamber of Shaolin', 'Kill Bill').

The sad truth is that right now, Chrissie Chau is huge in Hong Kong and what she lacks in talent, she makes up for in...well, just look...
I guess I'll chime in to give Chrissie Chau a perfect 10
Xtreme Beach Volleyball FTW!!!
Chrissie Chau's currently a hot ticket, so this will make tons 'o cash regardless of what it's about. Phoenix isn't bad either...she's actually a huge plus!
...Throw a bevy of scantily-clad women into the mix, with martial arts, and exotic locales, explosions, witty banter, and BAM! - Instant summer blockbuster!
..I'd vouch for it!
This is the project Bey Logan's whole career has been leading up to. That's why there's an exclamation point in the title of the film.
So where is the full size photo...I need a new desktop image !
hahah i NEED it too !!! ahaha
very nice!
bey logan films are laughable. he just watches hollywood films, changes the plot to asia, adds attractive asian woman with no acting ability, and gets people in hk to fund his garbage. not one of his films has made money. now mr logan wants to do a michael wong film. please mr logan its bad enough mr wong thinks he can sing. but hasnt anyone told him he cant act.
